Description
Epakitin is a chitosan-based phosphate binder to help support normal function and health of the kidneys in dogs and cats.
Managing phosphate has been shown to increase life expectancy of renal patients1,2.
Epakitin can be used with the patient’s normal diet or used in conjunction with renal diets for additional phosphate management.
Directions for Use
1 g / 5 kg of body weight given orally in the morning and the evening.
60 g and 180 g jars: 1 level scoop (provided) contains 1 g of Epakitin.
300 g jar: 1 level scoop (provided) contains 2.5 g of Epakitin.

If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Federal law prohibits the off-label use of this product in ruminants.
Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
