FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 13, 2019) – Inspired by National Volunteer Month, ten volunteers from Vetoquinol USA, the world-class developers of veterinarian-approved formulas for companion and large animal healthcare products, recently assisted the Humane Society of North Texas. The volunteers socialized with cats, walked dogs and rolled up their sleeves to help clean and organize.

The volunteers brought more than just their physical labor; they donated veterinary and pet products as well. Corporate social responsibility is highly valued by Tomlyn and Vetoquinol USA, which are headquartered in Fort Worth. Employees are encouraged to participate in volunteerism at least two days each year.

“It was incredibly rewarding to donate our time and products to the Humane Society of North Texas,” said Tabitha Cromer, Marketing Manager at Vetoquinol USA. “They are fantastic advocates for pet health, which is the first priority for our team at Vetoquinol. Support from the community is essential to nonprofit organizations like the Humane Society of North Texas since most rely solely on donations from the public.”

The Humane Society of North Texas advocates for pets in need offering critical services including adoptions, low-cost spay/neuter services, vaccinations and cruelty investigations. For more information on how to support the organization through donations and volunteering, visit hsnt.org.
